'Tuilips'

Description:  'Tuilips' in the art nouveau style. I believe this style of line work goes well in this media. The colours of the wood, with the burnt image combine to create a very flowing, smooth easthetic.

The composition of this image was important as I wanted to create a flowing image of flowers, not just a line image of a bunch of flowers. The subject was a box didge I made that was a present a friends daughter.
