'Tribal Sun'

Description:  'Tribal Sun' - bold and bright, this design was coloured with transluscent orange drawing ink, using like a stain but with more vibrant colour. Burnt on a box didgeridoo it looks good (and sounds good) when being played.

It never ceases to amaze me when looking arouns the world at different cultures, the diversity of art in relation to basic aspects of life. The sun, moon, stars, nature, animals, trees etc, are reproduced in so many different ways yet all represent the same thing. This image is not based on a specific design but reference drawn from all the different cultures around the world.
