'Badger'
Description: 'Badger' was burnt onto a box didge I made for my daughters 11th birthday. The box didge was faced with Birch wood, light in colour and subtle grain running along its length. I tried ti incorporate that with the lines of bark and tree trunk rising up above the entrance/exit of the burrow, which is in the bole of a tree. Highlighted with white acrylic, I tried to focus on creating texture and contrast in the fur and tree. Not only that but the box didge plays well too! Happy Birthday Alice.
